Grace Greetings!
Praying all is well with you since my last posting. If you wonder why I greet you by saying Grace greetings, it’s because God’s grace is sufficient for us. It’s so wonderful that his grace will never run out! Remember we are saved by grace through faith? Years ago, I learned from my former pastor that grace is the unmerited favor of God. So, when you read Grace greetings from me, I’m saying to you may God favor you today! It’s mind boggling how fast the year is coming to an end. The saying that the years go by like days is all too true. It seems like just yesterday I was sharing with you about my flunking out of college, working and experiencing a greater walk with Christ but I’m having an issue talking about me right now. Allow me first a moment to share an encouraging time for you to look up!
Fully realizing I’d have no reason at all to be writing to you about anything of importance besides the most important person in my life, Christ Jesus, I must place him at the front for why I look up every day of my life! He is the only reason for my existence! I’m a nobody and have little significance to you or anyone else apart from Christ Jesus! Like the disciples in the Bible, I have nothing to offer you but Christ. For me, life has no meaning apart from him. In fact, I live to live for him and apart from him there is no other reason to live. The longer I live, I’m totally in agreement with Paul in his text as he stated, “For me to live is Christ”, Philippians 1:21. I didn’t always see this clearly but because this earthly life is so unpredictable, unfulfilling, and temporal, I’m grateful that the Lord is showing me that true joy, true peace and true happiness can only come through him. I knew from scripture that Christ Jesus is alive because of the resurrection and my faith in his word but I’m learning now that he is "Fully Alive!"
What’s the difference between alive and fully alive? Christ was alive and made alive to me through teachings of the scriptures. Scriptures and sermons about his birth, his death and his resurrection rehearsed in my ears over the years brought an awareness that Christ did exist and walked here on earth at one time and that he is still very much alive today. Now that I’ve lived and experienced some heavy blows and great joys in life, he has become ‘fully alive’ to me.
In my late twenties on my quest for more of God, I felt led to ask God to find my mate for me. I had never presented such an in-depth prayer before and that very same year a few months after my request, I met my husband. Let me tell you, the Lord became ‘fully alive’ to me. This invisible being whom I had faith in that existed, heard and answered my prayer and I started to look up to him more for help and guidance throughout my life. I can see how little tidbits of my life are seeping out through each blog and I apologize for not finishing up yet, but I wanted to share the most important part of my reasons for looking up and it’s the man Christ Jesus!

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
Tinie Solomon, I love you and am so thankful that God put you in my life. I am looking forward to enjoying more of your encouragement through this site. 💗
